Title appears with subtitle in parentheses on spine and back cover: "BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS)", in square brackets and lowercase on front cover: "big hits [high tide and green grass" and simply "BIG HITS", with no subtitle, on centre labels.

German stereo release with "royal sound" above boxed rights society on black in red centre labels with boxed white in black DECCA logo, packaged in laminated (with 'Clarifoll') gatefold cover printed in the United Kingdom including six page booklet with colour photographs of band members and credits. The cover has got the indicator hole on back (colour depending on the inner sleeve, if blue, then it is stereo) and both catalogue numbers appear on spine: white 'M' in black circle meaning mono followed by TXL 101 (non affecting this release) and white 'S' in black circle meaning stereo followed by the right catalogue number TXS 101.

Track A1 title written alternatively - with dash instead of comma - on centre label: "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby - Standing In The Shadow?" Track A2 title misspelt - containing a comma, as well on cover as on centre labels, correct it should be with no comma: "Paint it Black".

Song styles stated on centre labels as follows: tracks A1, A2, A4 and B4 - Shake; track A3 - Slop-Fox; tracks A5 and B3 - Slowfox; track A6 - Limbo; track B6 - Slow-Rock and track B7 - Blues.
